5. Connected Third-Party Accounts

Hola Stars lets you connect third-party business accounts so we can manage your reviews and publish content on your behalf. Connecting an account is always optional, always initiated by you, and can be disconnected at any time from your dashboard.

Google

We use Google Sign-In and, optionally, the Google Business Profile API. We request only the permissions needed for the features you use:

• Sign-In (name, email address, profile picture): used solely to create and authenticate your Hola Stars account.
• Google Business Profile management: used solely to read the reviews left on your business locations, display them in your dashboard, and publish replies that you or your team compose. We never post to your Business Profile without an explicit action by you.

How we store it: Google access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted at rest and are used only to make the API calls described above. Review content synced from Google is stored so it can be displayed and replied to within your dashboard.

How to revoke it: disconnect the account under Social Media → External Reviews. Doing so revokes our tokens with Google and deletes them from our systems. You can also revoke access directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Hola Stars' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data to serve advertising, we do not sell it, we do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve the features you requested, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition, and we do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit consent, for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or where the data is aggregated and de-identified.

Meta (Facebook and Instagram)

If you connect a Facebook Page or Instagram business account, we access your list of Pages, Page engagement data, and permission to publish content — used solely to publish posts you create in Hola Stars and to display engagement in your dashboard. Access tokens are stored encrypted and deleted when you disconnect the account.

HolaStars is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information promptly.

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
